Please note once these balloons have been delivered they are no longer our responsibility, we have absolutely no control over the way they are treated, the environment they are kept or the temperature of the rooms they are kept in.
We have clear messaging (3 times) on our boxed balloons that no scissors (or blade) is to be used on opening. This will puncture the balloon through the box and cause the balloon to deflate. We can not offer a re-delivery in this situation.
BOXED BALLOONS
If you open the box and it's deflated:
We understand that sometimes there may be a fault or weakness in the manufacture of the balloon so please get in touch if your balloon has deflated for an unknown reason. But please, don't tell us fibs - we are kind humans and put so much love into creating these for you and [like everyone] appreciate complete honesty.
We can offer a replacement, but not a refund and must be contacted by 5pm the day of delivery.
Send us images of the packaging. For Brisbane orders we will also need to collect this when delivering your replacement. For interstate orders - take clear images of where the box was opened, both the outside and the two flaps when opening. If you can not provide this - we sadly can't replace it. Email or text to hello@fancyschmancy.com.au // 0492 218 716 along with your order number. Once images are received, your replacement will be delivered ASAP. This may not be the same day, it will be the following day if local (please leave original box out for collection) or if interstate the next available delivery date. Don't be sad or angry. It's completely out of our control. Just think, you're making the celebration last longer!
If we collect the original box and it has been opened with a blade/scissors (we can tell), you will be invoiced.
FOIL BALLOONS AND BUNDLES:
These are designed for same day delivery and we suggest gifting these the day they are inflated. We can not guarantee how long the foil balloons last - they are delicate and way too many factors affect their lifespan.
If the bubble in the bundles deflates the day they are delivered please let us know and send us images of the bubble. Sometimes there is a weakness in the balloon and can cause a pop or a slow deflate.
We work Monday to Saturday we can offer a replacement for our bubbles the same day (if possible) or following business day if there is a manufacturer or inflation fault in the bubble.
We understand it's disappointing, but please remember they are balloons - they pop!
All our orders for delivery outside of Brisbane are couriered with the legends at TNT. Once your order is placed we will check the postcode/transit time and schedule delivery to have it arrive on your desired date - but we can not guarantee it. Unfortunately, once TNT has collected your delivery from us it is out of our control if any delays occur and what time of day it will be delivered. We always put "Authority to leave" on our boxes. Should it be delivered to an apartment block and no one is home we will most likely have to re-deliver the following day. We've had a 99% success rate with TNT and deliveries rarely see a delay.

Our signature collections are all 61cm clear balloons. Impressive, huh!

Seriously though, we really do last a long time. You can expect your Fancy Schmancy boxed balloon to stay perky for at least a week!
We use the highest quality balloons for our boxed gifting. These balloons are carefully prepared on the day of shipping/delivery. These balloons are filled with helium. Helium being an element will expand slightly in warmer temps (don't leave me in sun or in the car) and slightly shrink in the cold. Exposing your balloon to extreme temperature changes will shorten its lifespan.
We let our balloons float around our Fancy office for up to half an hour before boxing to ensure that seals are secure and there are no slow leaks or weakness in the plastic. Once boxed, our boxes are checked over and passed onto our Fancy Courier Legend Brandon, or an external company.

So our delivery times (wink wink), vary depending on where we’re delivering to.
For local orders placed before 10am you can expect same day delivery for all Brisbane addresses. For orders placed after 10am or outside of Brisbane we will ensure delivery the following day.

Brisbane Suburbs
Currently within 5km radius of our HQ in Windsor is free. Suburbs outside of this radius will be delivered to same day but will incur a delivery fee.
Sydney:
Sydney suburbs will be with a courier overnight.
Queensland Coast:
We can deliver overnight to Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast. This is with a courier, if delays occur this is out of our control and you will not be refunded.
Other locations:
We can also send interstate, its best to drop us a line and we can confirm the transit times to ensure your balloon is delivered on the preferred date.

The balloon itself is 60cm in size and made from clear stretchy plastic - not latex! Bubbles are pop resistant, but not pop proof. They can withstand outside pressure changes, but should not be exposed to severe temperature changes.
Oh and ribbons, tassels, and of course confetti!
